Park Tool Freewheel Removers are designed and built to safely and easily remove and install freewheels. Removal is necessary when a freewheel is worn or damaged. In some cases, freewheel removal is required to replace a broken spoke.
Heat treated alloy tool steel, one inch base fits wrench or bench vise. Thin wall construction allows use without removal of cones and locknuts.
Fits Atom®, Regina®, splined Zeus®, and some Schwinn Approved® freewheels
The FR-4 has 20 splines and is approximately 21.6mm in diameter.
Always use a skewer or axle nut to hold remover firmly in place.
